Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. Last minute cancellations leave us little opportunity to fill the spaces. For that reason, we need to maintain a strict cancellation policy.
Cancellations made 14 or more days in advance of your arrival date will not be charged. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the arrival date will be charged the rate for one day. For major holidays, October Parents Weekend, and June graduations, the cancellation requirement is 30 days prior to arrival date to avoid a charge.

(If this is a reservation for an academic department, a company, or other organization, we can also invoice the organization directly. Please call us to arrange this.)
We collect charges for the full stay at check-in. Except in emergency circumstances, room charges are not refundable after payment at check-in (no refunds for early check-outs). We accept Visa, MasterCard, and checks. (No tipping is necessary.)
In addition to a discount for extended stays of one week or longer, we also provide a discount when families and friends reserve two guest rooms that share a bath and a discount for University of Chicago Medical Center patients and their relatives. After you make your online reservation request, please call us to arrange the appropriate discount.
University Quarters Bed & Breakfast & Suites is a smoke-free environment, and we unfortunately cannot accept guests under the age of 14 unless the full floor has been reserved.
