DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION, AND PAYMENT POLICIES:

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly.  Last minute cancellations leave us little opportunity to fill the spaces.  For that reason, we need to maintain a strict cancellation policy.  After you receive our e-mail confirming your booking, a deposit of the rate for one day is required to hold your room reservation.  The deposit can be paid by Visa or MasterCard.  Cancellations made 14 or more days in advance of your arrival date will not be charged.  Cancellations made less than 14 days before the arrival date will be charged the rate for one day in the amount of the deposit.  For major holidays and June graduations, the cancellation requirement is 30 days prior to arrival date to avoid a charge.

We collect payment at check-in.  Room charges are not refundable after payment at check-in (no refunds for early check-outs).  We accept Visa, MasterCard, and checks.  We can also invoice academic departments, companies, and other organizations.  (No tipping is necessary.)

In the middle of the Midway Plaisance, the 264-foot
Ferris Wheel created by George Ferris dominated the
horizon during the 1893
Columbian Exposition.

The Palace of Fine Arts (currently the Museum of Science and Industry), one of the only buildings still standing from the Columbian Exposition.
